Lower Lea


Situated around a large grassed area, the bunkhouses are equipped with heating and separate amenities blocks. Sleeping up to 85 in total, the bunkouses come in a range of sizes so are perfect for any sized group.

Hobart Bush Cabins
Tucked into a private bush setting, the 7 fully self-contained bush cabins each sleep up to 6 (Queen + 4 bunks). These cabins are open to the public all year round as a unique alternative to city accommodation, or can be included as part of your site booking. See the website here

Training Rooms
The training centre contains 10 single beds attached to the activity hall


Activity Spaces
A wide open field is centrally located providing opportunity for ball games, wide games and large-scale activities.

Activity Hall
A multi purpose hall located adjacent to the kitchen and Scout centre, the activity hall is ideal for indoor games, activities, training or seminar breakaway groups, or night-time functions. With 10 single beds in adjoining rooms, the hall is perfect for small group bookings.

Meeting Rooms
Setup for audio-visual presentations with teleconferencing facilities, the meeting rooms are available for hire individually or as part of a larger booking.

The dining area consists of a commercial style kitchen with adjacent dining hall seating up to 50, outdoor BBQ and patio dining area. Situated adjacent to the training hall and activity field, the kitchen is set up to cater for the bunkhouse accomodation. Pots and pans, cooking implements, crockery and utensils are all provided. Catering options are available for any booking.

Nestled into a beautiful bush setting, the chapel is perfect for a quiet place of reflection such as Scout's Own, or even an intimate wedding.

Campfire Circle
The main campfire circle at the Lower Lea seats many and is ideal for a meeting point, discussion space or of course a place to gather following a day of activities.
